Alex Teller (mi) / James Gedda & the Big Breakfast

James Gedda is an up-and-coming Country and Americana singer-songwriter with a booming voice and a plainspoken honesty in his lyrics. The Crown Point, IN native has drawn comparisons to the likes of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard with his earthy baritone, and he regularly covers such classics, but what drives him is writing songs and telling stories with modern sensibilities. He's performed in such historic venues as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and regularly sings all over Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area on top of having toured through Appalachia & the Southwest. He's released three locally-recorded solo acoustic EP's: Thick As Thieves, Bad Things Happen: Dynaline Sessions Vol. 1, and Hollering in a Bar, along with a pair of singles produced by Midamerican Records in Nashville, TN and is hard at work on getting his debut full-band, full-length album released. James Gedda is not an artist to miss if you're a fan of infectious melodies and affecting stories.

Alex Teller's warm, lived-in voice paired with acoustic flat-picking and travis-style guitar work creates a captivating live show, evoking memories of a distant American past. Teller's intimate and authentic storytelling compels listeners to feel something real, filling the room with tears and laughter while embracing the beauty of humanity. Alex’s songs draw inspiration from American balladeers like Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, and Woody Guthrie, bringing a nostalgic, yet original performance.
