Daya Dorado and her Tex-Mex Country sound combine classic Texas Country with borderland rhythms to create a music of resistance, storytelling, and dance. Her upcoming debut album is a fusion of the cultures that have shaped her as an artist, and her bi-national US-Mexico tour is bringing her lively sound to audiences on both sides of the border. Her tour features Katie Jo, the lil Honky Tonk Tornado from Kansas, who has made an impact in the East Nashville Country scene and co-wrote some songs on Daya's album.
