Born and raised in Texas, she developed a passion for music from a young age watching her parents perform at nightclubs in Houston. After relocating to Chicago, she cut her teeth as a performer and songwriter, learning to play the fiddle, guitar, and bass. Swain's music is honest, soulful, and steeped in her Texas roots.
